Hoe werkt Gea Thuis? In 4 stappen de hulp die u zoekt.

1. Sign up

Simply fill out the application form. This gives us an initial picture of your situation and wishes. Your advisor will help you step by step for a smooth start.

2. Personal interview

We take the time to listen to you. Together, we discuss what you need and what suits you. Your wishes are always our priority.

3. Kennismaken

You meet a support worker who might be a good fit for you. Does it feel right? Then we move forward together. You choose who you want to work with.

4. A good start

The support starts in a way that suits you. You make agreements together and remain in control. We are there for advice whenever you find it helpful.



What do you agree upon with the support worker yourself?

U bent zelf de opdrachtgever. Dat betekent dat u samen met uw eigen ondersteuner afspraken maakt die passen bij uw wensen en situatie.


Denk hierbij aan:

  • de dagen en tijden
  • the work
  • the compensation
  • practical matters such as holidays or changes

U legt deze afspraken samen vast in een overeenkomst.

Wij ondersteunen u op de achtergrond, wanneer u dat wilt.


Good to know

The support provided by Gea Thuis falls under the Home Services Scheme. This makes it possible to organize help at home in an accessible manner.


Dat betekent onder andere dat:

  • A support worker works for you for a maximum of 3 days per week. (You may deploy additional support workers in case of high demand.)
  • you make your own arrangements regarding wages and working hours
  • It concerns support in daily life, such as companionship, guidance, and light help around the house.


Your advisor helps you arrange this in a clear and pleasant manner.



Role of Gea at Home

Gea Thuis bemiddelt bij het tot stand brengen van ondersteuning aan huis.

  • U kiest zelf met wie u wilt samenwerken
  • U maakt rechtstreeks afspraken met de ondersteuner
  • You enter into an agreement yourself.

Binnen de Regeling dienstverlening aan huis bent u de opdrachtgever.


Gea at Home:

  • is geen werkgever
  • is geen partij in de overeenkomst
  • betaalt de ondersteuner niet
  • stuurt de ondersteuner niet aan


Wat wij wél doen:

  • mediate in finding a suitable supporter
  • voorbeeld-documenten en hulpmiddelen beschikbaar stellen
  • offer advice and support whenever you wish to make use of it
  • We help you on your way
